Havant Sixth Form College

Sports academies

Whether you’re playing for fun and fitness, or aiming to compete at the highest level, Havant Sixth Form College has all the sports facilities and opportunities you could wish for. We cater for those students wanting to play at the highest level but also those entering sports for the first time through our sports academies and recreational sessions.

You do not need to have previous experience and can join up to two of the academies. Our tryouts are during the summer so you will be ready to start training as soon as you start with us in September.

Fantastic Facilities

On campus, we have an international standard floodlit hockey pitch, two grass football pitches and additional training grounds, plus a large four badminton court sized sports hall. We also use Havant Park for cricket and play rugby at Havant Rugby Club.

Football

We have two teams playing in the country’s largest and most established College league. In 2012/2013 one team won the British Colleges Plate. Both teams train together weekly with our expert coaches.
