Student Union
When you join Havant Sixth Form College, you’ll automatically become a member of our Student Union (SU). Run entirely by students, the SU organises social events for you right through the year. On a more serious note, they also represent you at meetings with the Principal and College Governors, so your views get heard by the people with the power to change things.
A packed social calendar
The SU organises all our big student events, such as the Christmas Fayre and Battle of the Bands, as well as theatre trips, charity fundraisers and other activities.
Getting involved
As a first-year student, you can run for President, Treasurer, Publicity Officer, Entertainment Officer, Website Officer or Communications officer in the SU elections, which are held in December. Serving on the SU committee is a great contribution to college life and it’ll look good on your CV or UCAS application too. The SU is always keen to hear students’ ideas and comments, which regularly appear on the SU page on the College Intranet and in student bulletins.

NUS Extra card
As a Havant Sixth Form College student, you can apply for an NUS Extra card. This costs £11 and gives you money off at Amazon, Odeon, McDonalds and loads of other online and high-street stores.
