There are no tuition or examination fees for home students aged 16–19, students whose parents have the right to live in the UK, or students from countries in Europe. We welcome overseas students. Contact the College for details of tuition fees and enrolment processes. You will pay fees if you wish to re-take an examination which has previously been part of your College course.

You can apply by either completing the application form in the prospectus or online at our website www.havant.ac.uk. If you attend one of our partner schools, simply hand in the application form to the Careers Co-ordinator at your school.

We interview everyone who applies and will arrange for your interview as soon as we receive your application form. The interview will be informal, giving you the chance to find out more about the College. You can attend the interview on your own or with your parents.

We would like you to bring evidence of your prior levels of academic achievement to your interview. This can consist of academic reports and your predicted grades profile if available, as well as a record of achievement if you have completed one.

A great option if you’re in Year 11, come and spend some time in College with someone already studying the subjects you’re thinking of doing, or have already applied for. In July we offer free whole and half-day workshops to Year 11 students. The programme includes Sport, Modern Languages, Photography, Politics and Art & Design and is a great opportunity to meet our teachers, make new friends and learn new skills. Your school will have brochures in the spring term. Havant is a really popular College, so although we accept applications at any time during the year, try to apply as soon as possible in the autumn term. Most of your schools will recommend that you complete your application before Christmas. Do not delay your application if you have not chosen your subjects. Interviews begin in October for the following August.

This is your chance to spend a day as a Havant Sixth Form College student. You’ll mix with our staff and other Year 10 students and take part in your own choice of lessons. You can also talk to us about particular ambitions, including studying medicine or veterinary science or going to Oxford or Cambridge.
