Adult education

Havant Sixth Form College also provides a number of daytime Adult Education courses. For more information on courses for the 2013/14 academic year, please refer to the adult course list and the Adult & Community Learning Flyer.

The College supports the government's skills strategy agenda offering a wide range of QCF and Functional Skills courses which lead to recognised qualifications. If you're an unemployed adult on benefits these courses are fully funded by the government and free of charge to you. In addition if you are aged between 19 and 23 years and do not have a full level 2 or level 3 qualification, these courses may also fully funded and free to you. Anyone who does not have a GCSE in Maths or English at grade A-C are also fully funded to undertake a functional skills qualification free of charge.

By undertaking one of our Adult Education courses, you will also benefit from impartial expert advice from our Careers Service about living and working in our local community.
